I believe that the Bible is God’s Holy Word and that it was given for our instruction. I believe that God cannot lie or break His promises. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He never changes.

My hope for the future of our Church is that we always seek God’s will and then stand firm. I will vote to keep our stand on homosexuality that is currently in our Discipline that the UM Church does not condone homosexuality and to strengthen discipline for anyone disobeying.

How can we do this?  Proverbs 3:5 says “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

Then just remember that God is in control and He will guide us, if we seek His will for our Church.  He is our Hope for the future of our Church. Now, you pray that all said and done will be to His Glory.
